the lists have started

Vacation in 11 days and I have started making lists. Lists of things to do, lists of things to pack, lists of bags to pack, lists of things to consider...I am just one big list this week. I think I have everything bought that I need. I got Avon bug spray today. I like it because then I don't have to worry about the DEET and it works about as well as anything else. We are going to WY, so we can expect the mosquitoes to be BIG. Since I am taking little miss yummy baby skin and her father...we need bug spray! I have numerous small bottles of stuff, I stopped by the pharmacy to get a small bottle for the allergy medicine, refilled all the prescriptions I could remember, bought a new fleece for us both (Honey Bun didn't want one)...what am I forgetting. I hope in the next 11 days it will come to me.

One question for you. I got the neighbor kid to water the plants outside. Should I give the kid access to the house and have her check the cats too?

Checking the cats means you have to check the food, check the water and remove any dead animals.

I just don't want to spend $120 to board them if the neighbor girl can supervise them, but I am not sure I want her in the house while we are gone...but then does it really matter? I have always believed if someone is going to rob you, they are going to rob you...regardless of if you are in town or not.

a little emotion

Sweet Pea is mad, Sweet Pea is hungry, Sweet Pea is thirsty. We have started using emotions. And it is cracking us up. Especially when she exclaims that she is MAD. I owe you some photos and I promise that I am working on it.

Life as we know it

Lots and Lots of this blog involves Sweet Pea and her general health. Seems like that is what my life revolves around these days. I spoke with the doctor last night, and it was determined that she is what she is. I have to quit expecting more. We talked about how I can treat her and what to expect and actually when I should be bringing her into the doctor's office. Her condition has been diagnosis'ed as allergies. I have medicine to try and treat her and strategy as to when to treat her. Right now she is coughing, snotting, fever, snoring and snotting should be defined as constant and varying shades from clear, cloudy, yellow and green. We have been to the specialist and she is too young for any further treatment. So this is life as we know it.
